Our 'Fibre & Locks' boxes are a combination of 25g carded fibre batts and bundles of locks. We are working with local farmers and flocks to create these boxes of natural fibre and locks. Mark Jones has sourced, handwashed and prepared the Teeswater and Wensleydale locks in this box. His 'Cefn Llan Fibre Flock' is located near us here in Bethel, Gwynedd, his flock will benefit from 33% of your purchase. We have combined these locks with Jacob carded fibre batts (25g/each) sourced from another local farmer near Llanrug, Gwynedd, and Shetland batts (25g/each) from Anglesey. Tecstiliau have handwashed and hand carded these batts just for you. Please be aware that we have done our best to reduce the amount of 'vm' in our products but these are handwashed so there is still a little bit of nature left in our fibres. This box will provide you with fibre for spinning, felting and weaving.
