Jacobean, also known as Crewelwork, is traditional embroidery associated with the 16th and 17th Centuries.  In this one day workshop, you will learn a selection of the traditional Jacobean stitches to create a ‘Hellebore’ sampler. You will be using silk threads on silk Dupion, this is quite fine work so some stitching experience is needed. Materials: Fabric and threads are supplied as part of the workshop fee. Bring your own: 8 inch embroidery hoop.Â
