Join Sewing with Style’s Debra Drake to make a cosy vest to add to your winter wardrobe and take you into spring. We encourage you to think about using materials you already have or ‘deadstock’ fabrics that would otherwise be unwanted. Rather than consume more materials reuse or reduce our consumption while making new garments for your wardrobe. We will take you step-by-step through the fitting and construction process to produce a beautiful garments and are aiming to give opportunities to make small accessories to limit the fabric waste. This course is for confident beginners to intermediate sewists, age 16 and up.

Bring your own materials including:

Fabrics – 1.5 metres recommended fabric: boiled wool, a thick cord, teddy type fabric or a heavy weight fabric. 

Notions – 3 metres of bias binding as a contrast or match your fabric.…
