Oes gennych chi beiriant gwnïo yn eistedd yn segur yn ei focs? Ydych chi wedi bod eisiau dysgu gwnïo erioed? Nawr yw eich cyfle. Mae'r diwrnod gwnïo hwn wedi'i gynllunio i'ch rhoi ar ben ffordd gyda dwy sesiwn wahanol mewn un diwrnod. Yn sesiwn y bore fe ddangosir i chi sut i roi’r edafedd yn eich peiriant, glanhau’r peiriant ac yna ei ddefnyddio.

Start Sewing & Leggings!

Morning (10-12) – ‘Get to know your sewing machine’ 

Afternoon (1-4) – ‘Make Leggings’   Book the morning, afternoon, or both.   

Do you have a sewing machine sitting unused in its box? Always wanted to learn to sew? Now is your chance. This sewing day is designed to get you started with two different sessions in one day. In the morning session you will be shown how to thread your machine, clean it and then use it. In the afternoon session, we will make your first pair of leggings.   

Materials provided: some patterned/plain cotton squares (fat quarters), small thread. 

Bring your own: sewing machine (with a bobbin), fabric scissors, paper scissors (cheap pair, paper blunts scissors), stitch ripper (usually comes as standard with your machine), measuring tape, tailors’ chalk, pins. Fabrics, notions to bring for afternoon leggings: 

• 1 metre of Lycra (swimwear or sportswear) - fabric must have a full 4-way stretch, 
• Guttermann’s thread to match, 
• ¾ m of 1” wide elastic.
