A unique chance to attend a lac dyeing demonstration and talk by Shamji Vankar Vishram Valji master weaver from Bhujodi, Gujarat on Wednessday, 30 September organised by Pom Stanley and Trish Bould at Tecstiliau CBC. During the afternoon session, Shamji will talk about the lac dyeing processes as a weaver in Bhujodi, Gujerat, India. Shamji, a member of a long line of weavers, is also an entrepreneur and designer who works nationally and internationally. Shamji Vankar Vishram Valji was a National Craft Awardee in 2005.
