Our young designers days are created for young people, secondary school age, interested in making and design. 

These sessions give you the opportunity to develop skills associated with textiles.  In our January workshop day will focus on ‘STITCHING BLOCKS’. In a day, you will be making a sewn piece with a quilted feature. 

Materials provided: fabric remnants, various threads, and wadding.

**We also have 2 basic sewing machines that will be available on the day for those who do not have their own sewing machine.

Bring your own: 2 x cotton fat quarters (if you have specific fabric you would like to use), matching thread, basic sewing kit (needle, threads, pins), sewing machine & manual.

No previous experience is required, come and enjoy a day of making with us at Tecstiliau.

*Remember you can recycle fabrics for our projects by using old sheets, duvet covers or other materials for making.*
