Our young designers days are created for young people, ages 13 to 18, interested in design.
These sessions give you the opportunity to develop skills associated with textiles. Our June workshop day will focus on ‘SUMMER STITCH’. In a day, you will be learning to use a pattern to cut and sew a bucket hat.
We will start by learning to cut pattern pieces and machine sewing pieces and then assemble and add detailing to your summer bucket hat.
Materials provided: cotton fabrics (both plain and contrast), various threads, pattern pieces and interfacing.
