Christine will be running a two-day workshop exploring how to eco-print onto natural  fabrics such as silk and cotton. On Day 1, we start with a short walk to gather plants to dye with, participants will  produce ‘bundles’ to steam and boil to unwrap and reveal a beautiful  print. We will also print onto cotton  rag paper. Day 2 will be an introduction into slow stitching and book binding. Using your prints from the previous day, you will hand stitch the silk and cotton, embracing the practice of slow  stitching. The dyed papers will be used to stitch together a small booklet that participants can take home.
