Costiau / Cost - £15 / block 

To join our spinning group all you need to have is an interest in spinning from beginner to expert there is always something to learn. A bit of equipment whether drop spindle or wheel is also an advantage.

The emphasis for this group will be on developing knowledge and skills in a semi-formal way. You will learn with and from the others in the group along with a basic structure for each evening. Bookings are made in blocks of three sessions, £15 per block.  

Each session will start with a focused activity or discussion for the group and then allow time for spinning techniques.

Monthly sessions will be held on a Wednesday from 6.00 – 8.30 pm. Dates as below.

Once you register for one of these sessions you will automatically be added to the remaining sessions in the block.

Please note: The block cost is a flat rate cost whether you attend all or 1 sessions; so book in from the beginning and attend all three!

The sessions for our focus on ‘Colour Plying’ will be:

Wednesday, 25 September 2024 - 2 ply - Analogous Colour

Wednesday, 30 October 2024 - 3 ply - Warm/Cool Colour

Wednesday, 27 November 2024 - 3 ply/4 ply - Triadic Colour

Before each session you will receive an email regarding materials preparation, we are hoping you will be able to find fibre your already have or to develop coloured fibres for a specific project.
