Knit In - 'Home: Slip Stitch'

Tecstiliau is hosting our first 'knit in'. These sessions will be led by Sarah Key and each session will focus on a specific element of knitting. In this 'knit in', we will be exploring the patterns associated with the use of 'slip stitch' for 'home' knits.

The ‘Knit In’ online sessions build on our ‘Gwau 101/Knit 101’ classes from earlier in the year. Participants will need to know how to cast on as well as basic knit and purl stitches.  It is recommended that you have a pair of needles (straight or circular) 3-5mm.

For the ‘slip stitch’ session you may wish to have cotton yarn since this is often used in home knits; however, any yarn to match your knitting needles is suitable.

Please connect with your local yarn shop to purchase supplies.

Our local recommendation is YLP Haberdashery with shops in Caernarfon, Porthmadog & Llangefni.
