A beginners session using English paper piecing patchwork to make hanging decorations for your tree or another special occasion. Participants will learn the basics of using paper templates to shape their decoration and simple hand stitching to construct them. Celebrate the festive season with personal patchwork decorations to add that special touch to your home or as a gift for someone to cherish. Materials provided: grid paper, scraps of Christmas fabric, ribbons, beads, and decorative thread. Bring your own: basic sewing equipment such as needles, pins, sewing thread paper scissors and sewing scissors. Also a thimble (if you use one) and any scraps of cotton Christmas/holiday fabric that you may have.
