About the Event
Cost / Costiau: £10
Join us for our quarterly, gathering with other weavers whether you have a table loom, a rigid heddle, a tapestry frame, inkle, tablet - or anything weaving! For this session we are going to use silk to create cloth.
Our day will start with a discussion of silk in weaving and carry on with weaving and/or an individual discussion about our skills and projects. If you would like to bring samples of your weaving, please do. We are also happy to see your patterns and samples from our last gathering, bring these for show and tell.
On the day, you should bring:
- a warped loom - use commercial yarn to warp up your width and length of choice.
- silk & wool yarn(s)
