Join us for our quarterly, gathering with other weavers whether you have a table loom, a rigid heddle, a tapestry frame, inkle, tablet - or anything weaving!  For this session we are going to have a discussion about twill patterns.

If you wish to pre-warp a four shaft loom for this it should be warped in 'straight warp' (1,2,3,4 - 1,2,3,4). We will have our looms on site warped up for testing and sampling of twill on straight warps.  

Our day will start with a discussion about twill patterns in weaving before we carry on with weaving and individual discussion about our skills and projects.  If you would like to bring samples associated with warping techniques please do. We are also happy to see your 'gamps' and samples from our last gathering, bring these for show and tell.

On the day, you should bring:

- a loom warped for 'twill' and/or

- your loom and current weaving project to work on throughout the afternoon.

Coffee, tea and cake/biscuits will be provided on the day - please bring your own lunch.
