Join us for our quarterly, gathering with other weavers whether you have a table loom, a rigid heddle, a tapestry frame, inkle, tablet - or anything weaving!  For this session we are going to have a discussion about weaving wool and cotton patterns to create textured cloth when washed.

Our day will start with a discussion about weave different fibre patterns to create texture before we carry on with weaving and individual discussion about our skills and projects.  If you would like to bring samples associated with wool/cotton patterns, please do. We are also happy to see your patterns and samples from our last gathering, bring these for show and tell.

On the day, you should bring:

- a warped loom [warping instructions as follows: create a striped warp *2 inches wool, 1 inch cotton*, 2 inches wool. Repeat *to* to make a wider warp.]

- cotton and wool weft yarns

- weaving equipment

- your loom and current weaving project to work on throughout the afternoon.

Coffee, tea and cake/biscuits will be provided on the day - please bring your own lunch.
