A rich, dark 'heather' handwoven shawl / blanket that will add sophistication.
 
This item has been handmade on a rigid heddle loom.   Woven with a handspun skein of 'heather' Cheviot wool that is used as the 'supplemental weft' in combination with a natural handspun Blue Texel weft and hand-dyed Romney/Shetland wool blend for the warp and weft.  The colours are rich and handsome. The handspun makes this a unique, one of a kind piece.  The weave shows the 'supplemental weft' on one side and a textured, striped woven pattern on the other.
 
In addition to being a shawl, this piece can also be used as a small blanket or drapped across the end of a bed for an extra layer on your toes!  Keeping you warm in a variety of places.
