Here at Tecstiliau in Bethel we love hands-on traditional crafting, everything from spinning to natural dyeing to quilting.
We’re also not against using technology in a skillful and low impact way to support creativity.
We are a “maker space” and Ffiws Hub, one of a network of communal spaces across Ynys Môn and Gwynedd that support ordinary people to make, fix and reuse!

We offer free access to machines which can help you to make complex objects in an accessible way.
TUNiTECS is a range of products we created to help support your crafting, that we created using the maker space. Check out our Little Loom, Eco Dyeing and Bracelet Plyer kits.
If you are looking for a lovely and unique present for a birthday or Christmas, you’ll also find several hand made items shawls, blankets and scarves in our online shop. Note that these are unique one-off pieces: once they are gone, they are gone!
Want to use FFIWS to make your own creations?
You are welcome to come and explore our maker space equipment which includes a Laser Cutter, Sublimation printer, Mug Press, 3D Printer, plus of course Sewing and Embroidery Machines.

Then you can create your own prototypes and designs.
We only ask that you book a slot on Wednesday or Thursday evening so we can show you how it all works.
